I'm Laura, a recovering New Yorker/relapsed Midwesterner.
I grew up in glamorous Toledo Ohio and then worked in New York for 20 years at creative shops including BBH, Cliff Freeman and JWT. Then I decided to take a chance and move back to the Midwest - where I found out that life indeed did exist outside of New York.
I've won a bunch of awards - all the good ones and some really weird ones.
I've thrice been named as "One of the Most Creative Women in Advertising" by Business Insider.
I have a little boy who keeps me running around and I like to spend free time trying to keep my 115-year-old house from falling down.
